Three years after Caer takes the Cymraesh throne, the peace he and Mali fought for begins to fracture from within.

Old military families, merchants, veterans, and nobles are rallying around memories of Irvin’s reign, while a charitable movement quietly turns grief, debt, and bloodline into political weapons. Mali becomes the easiest target, but the campaign soon widens toward the Nine themselves, recasting Caer’s reforms as proof that Cymraeg has abandoned its old identity.

As unrest spreads through Llandaff and Tamuria looks for a way to exploit the fracture, Mali and her allies must uncover who is shaping the movement before resentment hardens into something far more dangerous.
