The able-bodied “cis-het” white” male who inhabits the Red Room is Miguel Ribeiro, a former portuguese journalist writing role-playing game content. Sílvia is the female “red roomer”, who was sensible enough to keep her day job, even though she joined Miguel in his quest for publishing politically incorrect role-playing games. The Red Room started off as a blog and Facebook page about movies, books, music, role-playing, videogames and comics.
