Hello!! It's Me Cindy Ly!


Most professionals in Construction Technology Consulting come from one side of the industry. My career has spanned all three.


I started in industrial construction, working on projects from conceptual engineering through commissioning. I was responsible for cost and schedule on $500M builds under significant risk and daily spend pressure.


From there, I stepped into a completely different scale, managing construction for Tough Mudder events across North America. High-volume, fast-turnaround builds that sharpened my ability to plan, adapt, and execute under tight constraints.


At Procore a construction management tech platform, I worked as a Product Consultant. Engaging with 400+ organizations — owners, contractors, and builders across every project type, team structure, and level of technology maturity. 


Being embedded inside a technology company also gave me a perspective most field professionals never get. I served as the bridge between clients and product, beta testing new features, surfacing feedback directly to product managers, and working through every phase from early discovery, to general availability. If you've used the Owner Dictionary in Procore, that one had my fingerprints on it.


I've had a level of operational exposure that simply doesn't exist in most career paths. That kind of access is rare. That kind of perspective is rarer. I bring it to every engagement alongside a genuine passion for moving this industry forward — because when you've lived complex projects from the ground up and seen how hundreds of organizations operate, you start seeing where things are heading long before most people do.
