Hi, I'm Jill.

I've lived with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome since I was 32. The rare, full-body kind. There were years I was mostly bedbound, years my husband Aaron washed my hair and fed me, years our three kids grew up faster than they should have. The Unbroken Smile started in those years as a small place online for other people living with CRPS. The whole idea, then and now: no matter what you have been through, you can still smile.

The kids are grown. My pain is managed. I am in a second chapter I did not always believe I would get. I make coloring books and journals for the woman in the middle of a hard season, the woman on the other side of one, and the woman quietly building both at the same time.
