Jan Pavlas

Author, writer, explorer, field herpetologist, and culinary enthusiast. He currently spends most of his time in Mindanao, where he explores the unexplored and reveals the secrets of native herpetofauna.

As Contributing Editor for South-Eastern Asia, Jan Pavlas is a member of the Responsible Herpetoculture Journal editorial board. His articles were also published in the biggest Czech geographic magazine, Koktejl. Jan runs an educative Facebook Page Herping Honza – Mindanao Reptile Enthusiast, where he introduces the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians of Mindanao to the public.
