Let's get to the good stuff...

I'm a storyteller, essayist, forever student of Audre Lorde, wellness enthusiast, grief gatherer, and a firm believer in the healing powers of radical vulnerability.

I created The Write to Liberation, originally a community writing cohort, in 2020 as a way for folks to connect with themselves and others on a deeper level. Since then, I've held several experiences ranging from topics like a personal revolution to leveraging our individual powers.

"I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood.”- Audre Lorde

You can read my random life musings weekly through The Write to Liberation, an open journal about getting freeThe Write to Liberation, an obvious play on words, is a space that imagines what liberation means when we decide to make room for the words we've struggled to speak. It is a call to action to speak our truths, even when it seems complicated.

Beyond that, I moved to Mexico on a one-way ticket in 2020 and have lived here for two years with my best friend and our Afro-Mexicano Yorkie, Lennox. Together we create resources, spaces, and experiences that center the well-being of millennial Black womxn. Utilizing my lived experience, I hold space for Black folks & other POC in their twenties to early forties navigating grief and loss. My favorite food is rice, I love to laugh, and travel is good for the soul.
