Shaletta McDade is a registered nurse, labor & postpartum doula, and childbirth educator. Always having a passion for helping others, Shaletta’s calling into birth work first started with her journey as a registered nurse. She gained experience over time as a pediatric nurse that fostered her skills in connecting with families that ultimately assisted her as she transitioned into birth work in April 2020, starting with being certified as a doula. She is the owner of This Moment Doula Services based in Houston, TX. Shortly after, she became a birth assistant and a childbirth educator where she assists multiple families into their journey of parenthood.
