About Me

My journey into coaching began on a football field.

I started by coaching youth football, and somewhere along the way I discovered that I loved helping

people grow. I loved seeing someone develop confidence, overcome a challenge, and begin to recognize

abilities they had not yet seen in themselves.

My own fitness journey began with a different goal. I was looking for physical change. I wanted to

improve the way I looked and what my body could do. But as I continued, the transformation that

mattered most was not physical. It was mental.

Fitness taught me how to stay committed when progress was slow. It taught me how to respond to

setbacks, trust the process, and keep moving forward. The confidence I built through training began to

influence the way I approached challenges outside the gym.

That experience changed the way I understood coaching.

I realized that a coach has the opportunity to help someone accomplish far more than a physical goal.

Through the right guidance, support, education, and accountability, coaching can help people see

themselves differently. It can help them recognize that they are stronger, more capable, and more

resilient than they believed.

The Toned Up Method was created to preserve that purpose.

It is built on the belief that people should be met where they are, supported without being made

dependent, and challenged in ways that build rather than diminish their confidence. Our responsibility

is not simply to tell people what to do. It is to help them understand, grow, and eventually make

confident decisions on their own.

My greatest measure of success is not whether a client needs me forever. It is whether the work we do

together helps that person become capable of continuing without me.

My hope is that the confidence people develop through fitness carries into every part of their lives. I

hope they leave each experience stronger than they entered it—not only physically, but mentally,

educationally, and personally.

That is what it means to leave people better than we found them.

That is the purpose of The Toned Up
