About Me
I’m Wayne D. Russell—a Jamaican-born poet, artist, lecturer, researcher, and military veteran. My work brings together poetry, imagery, culture, and philosophical inquiry to explore love, identity, hope, and the mysteries of being human.
Through Truly Pertinent Questions — The Requiem, I create digital poetry greeting cards that invite us to pause, reflect, and connect. Each card pairs words from my original poems with expressive artwork, offering a meaningful way to reach someone when ordinary words feel insufficient.
My purpose is to awaken consciousness, lift spirits, and remind us to cherish the moments—and the people—we too often take for granted.
