The International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) is the global governing body for climbing and mountaineering. It brings together national federations from around the world and works to promote safety, sustainability, training and the responsible development of mountain sports. Through its commissions, standards, educational resources and international network of experts, the UIAA supports climbers and mountaineers at all levels.
