My journey into the VA world - And why I believe in this work

When I first stepped into the world of virtual assistance, I didn’t have a roadmap. I had experience, passion, and a desire to support people, but not the templates, tools, or guidance that would have made those early days easier. Like many new VAs, I learned through trial, error, and a lot of determination.

Over the years, I’ve supported small businesses, membership groups, and leaders through strategic admin, branding, events, and relationship‑building. I’ve seen first-hand how powerful good support can be and how transformative it is when someone finally feels seen, organised, and able to breathe again.

But I also saw something else: talented new VAs entering the industry full of potential, yet lacking the confidence or resources to get started. That’s when the idea for The VA Collective Hub began to take shape.

I wanted to create a space that offered the support I once needed. A place rooted in inclusivity, community, and genuine care. A place where new VAs could access practical tools, learn at their own pace, and feel part of something bigger.

My journey hasn’t just been about building a business, it’s been about building a legacy of support, empowerment, and shared growth. And if you’re stepping into your own VA journey, I’m here to help you build something meaningful too.
