Power, Clarity and Freedom
Worship Leaders, now you can warm up your voice with a professional voice coach on Sunday mornings.
Sunday Morning Vocal Workout© is for worship singers who want to get ready, energised, and inspired to lead others in worship. Every week you are taken through guided vocal exercises that help ensure your voice is in optimal condition to deliver songs with power, clarity and freedom.
The sessions are designed to build and strengthen your voice over time, with new exercises being regularly added or upgraded.
This is a fresh, new innovative vocal programme for the whole worship team community.
Why Join?
If you want to sing with ease or embrace a healthier vocal lifestyle overall, these sessions will help you to:
- Warm up and activate your voice.
- Prepare your voice for singing.
- Improve your vocal health.
- Reduce vocal fatigue.
- Prevent the build up of muscle tension and strain (which leads to vocal loss).
- Follow guided exercises that will help strengthen and balance your singing.
- Mentally prep for leading worship (get focused!).
- Increase your confidence.
Every session lasts 30 minutes and starts and ends with prayer. Suitable for all voices.
Practice, Build and Condition
Another reason to join Sunday Morning Vocal Workout is it will help build and condition your voice. Like any other instrument, it takes practice to build muscle strength and condition your voice to sing efficiently. And - like any other instrument - this doesn't happen over night except with a consistent, intentional approach to practicing. SMVW purposefully takes place every week so you can achieve long term results through weekly practice.

You're in Safe Hands
Your voice is a precious instrument and a gift from God. So, it's crucial to know that your coach is an expert with years of experience teaching voice.
My name is Dionne and I've been coaching voices - from across the world - for over 15 years.

FAQs
-
I'm a Certified Vocal Coach and Vocal Massage Therapist. I've been training voice and coaching worship leaders since 2003. I have served on worship teams since early 2000's and currently attend and serve at my local church St Hughs, based in Luton UK, where I live with my 3 children and granddaughter. I am also the manager of St Hughs Music Academy.
I founded Voice in Ministry in 2010 as a response to the lack of vocal training available for worship singers in the UK, seeking out and training under industry stalwarts at a time when worship vocal training was scarce but desperately needed.

If you are looking to develop your vocal style or have persistent vocal issues, ie lack of range, then you'll need to consider personal 1-2-1 lessons to address stubborn vocal issues.

No. I have priced these lessons at a significantly reduce fee (just under £2.50pw) to introduce and encourage people to join. For example, my normal 30min lesson is £15 for adults and £12.50 for children.
If you are not satisfied after the first month, you are free to unsubscribe from the session. This will automatically stop any further payments.

Preferably, yes! This is because new or updated exercises might be introduced in a session, which you don't want to miss. However, it is appreciated that you might have to miss a session from time to time.
