Valkyrie Fiber is built around making things that feel considered and a little different. The yarn itself blends Icelandic roving, sourced directly from local farmers, with soft Merino, so it keeps the strength and character of Icelandic wool but is easier to work with day to day. Each skein is hand-dyed in Portland, Oregon, with colorways inspired by Iceland and the stories that come with it.

Valkyrie Craft sits alongside that. It’s a small collection of one-of-a-kind brooches and bag charms made from leftover materials and scraps that would have otherwise been thrown away. I don’t plan them, they just become what they become.

It’s a pay-what-you-want model, with 50% going to charity.
