Brief Biography – Hardeep Singh Ghuman

Born into a family with a long Military lineage, Hardeep represents the third generation of soldiers and is the father of a fourth-generation officer. Writing came to him unexpectedly later in life, growing out of reflection, travel, and a disciplined engagement with ideas. The son of a Punjabi author whose works crossed linguistic and national boundaries into the erstwhile USSR and Pakistan, he inherited a quiet respect for literature, though he discovered his own voice independently. For him, writing is not merely creative expression but a disciplined engagement with ideas, memory, and the passage of time.

His stories often draw upon lived realities of war, geography, and human relationships, blending factual detail with imaginative narrative. Through writing, he seeks clarity of thought and a deeper understanding of the human experience.
