The breeder behind the guides

I’m Chantelle, the breeder behind Vera Mountain Goldens in Colorado. My English golden retrievers now live with families in 24 states, and I’m proud of the work that brought us here.

I’ve put real effort into helping families find my program through my website and social media. Once they reach out, I read their applications, talk through their expectations, and take time to decide whether we’re a good fit. The relationship matters long after pickup day.

I created How Good Breeders Get Found to share that process with breeders who care deeply about doing this well. It’s practical guidance drawn from the work I do: handling inquiries, getting to know families, managing reservations, and keeping the dogs’ needs at the center of each decision.

My goal is to help you build a process you feel confident in, even on the busy days. Especially on the busy days.
