My name is Rahul Sharma, and like many international veterinarians, I began my journey thousands of miles away — in India, where I earned my veterinary degree with pride and passion. But I knew that to grow further in my career and serve in one of the most advanced veterinary systems in the world, I needed to revalidate my education and become licensed in the United States.

That’s when I discovered the ECFVG program — a process that seemed overwhelming at first. Between gathering documents, studying for the BCSE, navigating the English requirements, and preparing for the high-pressure CPE, it felt like a maze. There were moments of uncertainty, confusion, and doubt. But step by step, I found my way through.

Today, I’m proud to say that I’m a fully certified and practicing veterinarian in the U.S.
