Petia Romanova (5Rusha / ПетРуша) is a mathematician and artist who weaves the precision of numbers with the poetry of wool and words.

Born in Bulgaria and living in Colorado since 2003, she combines her background in mathematics and teaching with her deep love for traditional Bulgarian embroidery and felted wool art.

Her first book „Везба – Бабина Душа“ is a spiritual memoir written as a mother’s love letter to her son.

Her newest book „Вълни от Вълнà – ПетРуша РазТегля Под Слънце...“ (Waves of Wool) continues this journey, transforming wool into waves of light, flowers, and seasonal healing stories.
