About Me
Petia Romanova (5Rusha / ПетРуша) is a mathematician, word weaver and wool artist who weaves the precision of numbers with the poetry of felted wool and living words.
Born in Bulgaria and living in Colorado since 2003, she combines her background in mathematics and teaching with her deep love for traditional Bulgarian embroidery, felted wool art and spiritual writing.
Her first book „Везба – Бабина Душа“ (The Embroidery of Grandmother’s Soul) is a raw spiritual memoir written as a mother’s healing letter to her son.
The second book „Вълни от Вълнà – ПетРуша РазТегля Под Слънце...“ (Waves of Wool) continues the journey, transforming raw wool into waves of light, flower fairies and seasonal healing stories.
The third and final book of the trilogy – „77 Квантов Дихания на Суфи“ (77 Quantum Breaths of the Sufi) has just been released. It closes the spiral by weaving Glagolitic script, the living poetry of Rumi, the Seven Sacred Rites of the Dakota people, and intimate KolAstra moments into a ritual of light and liberation.
