About Me

My career journey began as an elementary school teacher. I earned a specialized education degree while teaching within the public school system. As my role in education expanded, I began teaching adult education classes. Soon I knew that adult education was my next arena and earned a post graduate degree that prepared me for a corporate training role. Since making that transition, I’ve worked in two major corporations to develop and deliver a wide variety of training programs.

When I made the decision to leave one field for another, it taught me that such changes can be transformational and allow the individual to follow a path leading to greater prosperity and fulfillment. There was risk involved that I navigated through with a clear focus on my goal. Though I made this transition at an age when others are investing heavily in their current careers, I kept the vision before me of the work I would do when I completed the study needed.

I’ve watched my colleagues’ growth on many levels during my corporate work ¾ talented professionals who have capabilities that span a broad spectrum of abilities. Working with individuals who, like me, have made the decision to transition to a lifestyle outside the corporate arena is an extension of the coaching I’ve been privileged to provide during discussions with those I’ve worked. Witnessing the challenges they’ve taken on has convinced me that when the time comes for transition from the corporate work world, acquired skills and capacities can be leveraged into a new and energizing approach to living and working.
