Welcome to Violet’s Cakes!

I’m a self-taught home baker, and I’ve been baking and creating cakes for the past 14 years. What started as a love of baking has grown over the years into something I’m incredibly proud of. Everything at Violet’s Cakes is made by me with the same care and attention I’ve always put into my baking. I make cakes and treats for my Cake Shed, create bespoke celebration and wedding cakes, and now prepare a selection of my favourites for you to order through my online shop.

Violet’s Cakes is a fully registered and licensed home baking business, I am fully insured, and I’m very proud to hold a 5-star food hygiene rating from my local council.

Alongside being a baker, I’m also a mum of two and very recently became a Nannie to my beautiful granddaughter, Violet. 💕

For me, baking has always been about more than simply making cake. It’s about celebrations, memories, family and those little moments when sitting down with a really good piece of cake makes everything feel that bit better.
