Vonayi is a Zimbabwean born author, writer, and serial reader. She grew up in the beautiful city of Bulawayo, which sits proudly in the Matebeland Region of Zimbabwe.
Affectionately called, The Midwife, Vonayi is passionate about empowering women to be the best God-version of themselves. She inspires change to achieve a positive impact on those around her. She is an encourager and mentor who ensures that others identify their gifts and birth their dreams safely. Vonayi is the founder of Inspired Khaya (The Home of Inspiration), whose mission is to empower and support women worldwide. It is a one-stop motivational, information and advice platform that allows women, businesswomen, women-entrepreneurs, and women in Ministry to network 118 and showcase their products, services, gifts, and talents. In addition, the initiative educates, informs, and connects women from different countries and cultures, inspiring and fostering connections and relationships to develop and take personal and business goals to the next level. Inspired Khaya has facilitated mentoring programmes in the UK and Africa, focusing on identity, gifts and talents and living a life of purpose.
Her background work is in the legal and Social Work Sectors, having worked as a Public Prosecutor in the Ministry of Justice in Zimbabwe and as an advocate and advisor within Social Care. A born-again Christian, Vonayi writes to encourage others in and to Christ. She lives in the United Kingdom with her husband and two adult sons.
