Hi, I'm Nikki — founder of Wandering Roots Academy. I hold dual bachelor's degrees in natural resources (fish and wildlife conservation) and sustainability (climate change mitigation through regenerative agriculture), and I bring 8+ years of experience in education. For several years I owned and ran a regenerative agriculture farm in Northwest Arkansas — and since September 2023, I've been homeschooling my own kids. Now my focus is educating the next generation in earth stewardship, and everything in this shop grows out of that work.

My flagship project is Garden Explorers & Earth Stewards, a 36-week garden-based curriculum for grades 3–5, rolling out now as a six-book series. I write every lesson myself, with three reading levels built in — Foundation, Core, and Stretch — so one book serves a whole classroom, homeschool, or co-op at once. The facts are researched and cited, the cultures behind every plant and pollinator are treated with respect, and the safety notes are always where you need them.
