Who is responsible

Useful Work Studio is operated by DAVID Healthcare Communications Ltd., registered in England and Wales, company number 17232649. We are responsible for our use of your personal information. Contact enquirytestpack@proton.me or write to our registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

Information and purposes

For orders and downloads, depending on the transaction and checkout settings, Payhip makes available your supplied email address, order date and reference, product, currency, discount and amount information, payment method, processing fees, applicable tax information, transaction status, download activity, email-consent status and city/country location information. Checkout also uses country information to determine applicable tax. We use the records needed to provide access, handle order queries, refunds and disputes, and maintain required business records.

For free downloads and enquiries, our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in delivering requested resources and providing proportionate support. For enquiries, we use the name, email address and message you provide. For an individual purchaser, we use information necessary to perform our purchase contract. Where a representative acts for a business, our legitimate interest is fulfilling that business's requested purchase and responding to its representative. We also process records needed to meet applicable accounting and tax obligations.

We do not automatically add download recipients to a marketing list, sell personal information, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.

Services we use

Payhip operates this store, checkout and contact form. Stripe processes payments and associated transaction information; its handling of information, including its own purposes and your choices, is described at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Proton Mail hosts our support inbox. An OpenAI assistant helps operate the store and may review relevant order records and support messages, which means their content can be processed by OpenAI. Please include only information needed for your question. OpenAI's handling of content depends on the service and its data controls; we do not promise that content is excluded from model improvement.

These providers may process information internationally. Proton says its Mail data is stored in Switzerland, Germany and Norway. Payhip describes EU storage and suppliers outside the EEA. OpenAI describes processing in the US and other countries, using adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards where applicable. Provider details, cookies, retention and transfer information are available at https://payhip.com/privacy, https://proton.me/mail/privacy-policy, https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/ and https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. These provider notices do not replace this notice about our own use. We have not configured additional Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel tracking.

Retention

We keep support and download records only as long as needed to provide access, resolve enquiries and handle related complaints or applicable obligations. We review the need for identifiable records at our monthly business review, with a view to removing or anonymising records no longer needed. Required company accounting records are generally retained for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, and longer where required. This does not mean keeping every support message for six years. Provider-controlled records and backups follow their own retention rules.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability and withdrawal of consent apply where their legal conditions are met. Rights have exceptions. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
