What the War Couldn't Take
This is the true story of Abdul Qader, a Palestinian father, husband, and nurse, who tried to protect his family and hold on to his humanity in the middle of a devastating war in Gaza. It is a story about love, loss, displacement, hunger, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going when everything around you is falling apart. But above all, it is a story about what the war could not take - a father's love for his children, his compassion for others, and his belief in a better tomorrow. Some things are stronger than war.
Love is one of them.
