Stand-up comedian and former firefighter Brandon Dee George discovered the beauty in getting fired from his job after an ill-advised social media post. Not letting it keep him down for long he felt it was necessary to lean into the pain, shame and embarrassment and to use it as a teachable moment for someone else. Almost a year later and he is more focused, more energized and more enthused to give back to the people the best that he can offer.
