Alternative Payment Methods (Bypassing PayPal)

I have been lovingly hand-crafting one-of-a-kind teddies, dolls and critters since 2007. Unfortunately, the modern internet is built for fast, mass-produced corporate businesses, making it incredibly difficult for independent hobby artists like me to access traditional credit card payment providers like Stripe or Square.

Because of this, my automated checkout is limited to PayPal.

If you do not wish to use PayPal, or if the checkout is not working (which is happening more often lately) please see below or on any of my listings for an alternative payment process. Some items are also listed in my ETSY shop.

Welcome to Woollybuttbears! By placing an order through this store or requesting a direct invoice, you agree to the following policies designed to ensure a fair and transparent transaction for both creator and collector.

#### 1. Shipping & Delivery

* **Carrier & Tracking:** All physical items are carefully packed and dispatched from South Australia via Australia Post. Tracking numbers are only provided for items where you have paid for tracking. I am unable to track items that do not have tracking. In 17 years I have only had 3 items go missing. Two of these turned up a week or two later so you need to be patient especially if you are an international buyer as items need to clear customs here and travel, then clear customs in your country before delivery. This takes time. 

* **Delivery Estimates:** Delivery times provided at checkout or via message are estimates supplied by postal authorities. Delays caused by postal carrier backlogs, weather, or customs processing are beyond my control.

* **Address Accuracy:** Buyers are strictly responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address at checkout. Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses will require the buyer to pay additional shipping fees to re-send.

#### 2. Customs, Tariffs & Import Taxes (International Buyers)

* **Buyer Responsibility:** International orders may be subject to import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), tariffs, or customs clearance handling fees levied by the destination country's government. 

* **Customs Declarations:** All parcels are legally declared as "Sale of Goods" with accurate purchase values in accordance with international postal laws.

* **Unpaid Customs Fees:** If a buyer refuses a package or fails to pay their local customs fees upon arrival, any costs incurred by the seller to retrieve or return the package will be deducted from any applicable refund.

#### 3. Payment Methods

* **Automated Checkout:** Instant checkout is processed securely via PayPal (sometimes PayPal checkout does not work properly so I give you another option for payment below).

* **Direct Order Alternative:** For buyers preferring direct bank deposit, Wise transfer, or direct PayPal invoicing, please contact me directly through the contact form or the link to my email in each listing. Items will only be posted after payment clearance. (This process is slower but more precise and I can give you an exact postal amount in my return email)

#### 4. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

* **Handmade & One-of-a-Kind:** Due to the delicate, collectible nature of my handcrafted artwork, **all sales are final**.

* **I am unable to accept cancellations so please consider purchases carefully. 

* **Damaged Items:** In the rare event an item arrives damaged in transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence of both the outer packaging and the damaged item. 

#### 5. Artist creations

* ** my items are not suitable for young children or play due to potential small parts being used in the creation process. 

* ** I do not replicate/replace or duplicate items. I have tried in the past but it’s simply not something I can do. 

* ** I do not do custom orders.
