This policy covers the World Cooking Android app, published under the PcArT name, and explains the separate online purchase and support activities connected with it. Privacy and support contact: pcartemail@gmail.com .

Using the app offline

You can choose a country or cuisine, select ingredients, read the included recipes and save favorites without creating an account. The app stores your selected country, selected ingredients and saved recipe identifiers on your device. The app does not send these selections or favorites to a World Cooking server.

App permissions and services

The current app has no advertising, analytics, account registration, cloud synchronization or app-operated crash reporting. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access. Internet access is used when you choose to open an original recipe source or another external link.

External links

Recipe credits and license links can open websites operated by other organizations. Those websites and your browser may process information such as your IP address and cookies under their own policies. Your ingredient selections and favorites are not added to those links.

Online purchases

The app is offered through Payhip. Checkout and payment take place outside the Android app. Payhip and the payment provider process purchase and transaction information under their own policies. As the seller, PcArT can access the customer and order information Payhip makes available to fulfill purchases and handle support or refunds. The Android app does not collect your payment card details or payment-account password. See the Payhip privacy policy and the privacy information shown by your chosen payment provider at checkout.

Support messages

If you email pcartemail@gmail.com, the information you include in your message is used to respond to your request and handle the related support issue. Purchase and support records are separate from the favorites and ingredient selections stored inside the app.

Removing data and making requests

You can remove saved recipes and clear ingredient selections in the app. To erase all locally stored app information, use Android Settings to clear World Cooking storage or uninstall the app. There is no World Cooking app account or app-server profile to delete. For questions or requests about purchase or support information held by the seller, contact pcartemail@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, refunds or other applicable obligations. Requests concerning information held by Payhip or a payment provider can also be directed to that provider.

Children and changes

World Cooking is a recipe reference and does not intentionally ask children for personal information. The online store and payment provider have their own terms for purchases. If a future app version adds online accounts, advertising, analytics or other data services, this policy will be updated to describe the changes.
