WHAT HE BELIEVES

Doug graduated from Tulsa University with a psychology degree.

Not knowing what his future would hold, his interest in the medical and scientific truths of the end of life was present in his childhood, undoubtedly caused by losing an above average number of family members, his brother, cousins , aunts, uncles & grandparents at an early age.

Not experiencing just the number of loved ones lost, but two of which died in tragic auto deaths (a cousin while in her car backing out into the road in front of her own home, was fatally hit by an oncoming car, and an uncle who lost his life while repairing an air compression line hose under his semi truck somehow causing the truck to back over him while underneath the vehicle).

This pain was an influence even in his college days, from which he wrote his senior thesis in college reviewing Dr. Elizabeth Kübler-Ross's famous book "On Death & Dying.

Doug Mac is a new author, after working over a decade as a medical college professor.

Doug believes new science discoveries and the “X” Unknown and “Known but Unrevealed” to the public "truths" are withheld to "keep the public order."

Doug now dedicates the rest of his career to research and revealing the "withheld" science "truths" and shares NEW research of the "X" unknown mysteries of life, death, and the afterlife in his Newsletters.

THE WHY?

4 days before Valentine's Day, 2019, Doug's wife Tracy died from cancer and violently threw Doug's life into a tornado of pain, anger and UNANSWERED QUESTIONS !!!!!

ANSWERS became his mission.

ANSWERS also became his therapy.

"Doug Mac" (a pen name) is the author of multiple book series sold on Amazon, and his websites are www.TheDougMac.com and www.XTruths.org.

His author name "on Amazon is "Douglas McGehee."

Doug “Mac” McGehee was raised in Oklahoma by a blue-collar refinery worker father and a career school-trained accounting clerk mother.

Doug graduated from The University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology and a minor in Public Administration.

Doug spent over a decade teaching anatomy and brain science at two local colleges before getting his certification in hypnotherapy late in 2019 that was actually intended as a therapy to seek answers & understanding from Tracy's death.

Doug is a credited actor, best-selling author, keynote speaker, host of a podcast show, and has achieved CTM status with Toastmasters International in addition to achieving certification in Hypnotherapy C.Ht in late 2019.

Doug Mac goes from the medical college science classroom into authoring Medical Science Investigative Reporting, conspiracies, and Revelations by exploring with advanced factual research and news stories.

He also shares the FACTUAL SCIENCE PROCESS of our human physical death into the afterlife and other "X-Truths" not revealed to the general public to keep "public order".

"XTruths.org" opened it's virtual doors September 10th, 2024 built around his flagship books, "Deathology 101", and "Cat and DOuG Beginner's Guide to Sound Healings" with new Courses, Audios, Videos, Workbooks, and Study Guides.

Each of these product's research shows new revealing discoveries and explorations within the medical science of : "BRAIN SCIENCE & VIBRATIONAL SOUND SCIENCE MATTERS….Of Life ,Death & The Afterlife".

Before his Non-Fictional Deathology 101 Textbook, he wrote several Fiction based works while dealing with all the emotions from losing his wife Tracy in 2019.

During that time, he felt like a "kindred spirit" with Famous Author, Edgar Allan Poe, who as well, suffered great losses, pain, and anger, with other similarities to Poe's own life that Doug also felt identified with .

In Doug's words, as the old expression goes, " Misery REALLY DOES LOVE company".

Why?

Because there REALLY IS a PSYCHOLOGICAL BASIS for this. "People like us aren't looking for pity or to be felt sorry for.

We simply want to tell our stories to others JUSTLIKE US , read about Authors who have lived lives, LIKE OURS, that can understand our pain and anger and having others, "JUST LIKE US" to talk to, is it's own therapy, that those who haven't had these losses, would not fully understand , or endured the "Dark Shadows" or shed the same kind of "late-night" tears, as we have.

His "Poetic Shadows" series brings Mr. Poe's 19th Century works into the 21st Century with Doug's uniquely qualified skills to bring Poe's poems (by the way, FREE in his bookstore) and stories to life once again to a new generation, with Doug's own interpretation.

Plus, ("REIMAGINATION") and using newer 21st Century English style writing to help those wanting to learn about Poe's works but may have trouble understanding the writing style of Poe's day.

Although Doug is a published author, he humbly considered himself simply a "student" of Mr. Poe as he studied each of Mr. Poe's works and gave his best to bring them to life, "reimagine" Mr. Poe's original intent in his poems and stories.

From Doug's earlier past writing projects, Deathology 101 was given life.

He made it a quest to revisit his past medical science resources and put in the research necessary to find answers about Tracy's death, and approach it the same way he prepared for his medical science lectures when he taught at the medical college.

WHY?

All the research done for writing Deathology 101 became the ultimate answer for him and he has "lived it" since, bringing him comfort and solace.

Outside of work, he donates time, his company's resources, and more to his love for the promotion of animal rescue, shelter, and adoption events.

He had previously served on the board of directors of the Tulsa Society for the prevention of cruelty towards animals.

Doug is a widower, his wife of many years being taken away from him from cancer just four days before Valentine's Day 2019.
