My name is Yahnoh, a Jamaican-born digital creator, music artist, storyteller, and cultural writer based in Canada.

I create books, music, and digital projects that celebrate Jamaican language, yard life, culture, wisdom, and memory. My work is rooted in real experiences, family history, country life, music, and the everyday words passed down through generations.

The Jamaican Patwah Handbook was created to help people understand real Jamaican Patwah in a simple, respectful, and easy-to-read way. Patwah is more than words. It carries rhythm, humour, survival, love, warning, and identity.

Through Yahnoh Books, my goal is to share Jamaican culture with the world while keeping the language and stories alive for future generations.
