She owns Skein Queen, an artisan hand-dyed yarn company based in Berkshire, and is the founder of Yarn Adventure - a blog about understanding what makes yarn different and how to choose the right one for your project.

She is rarely seen without a shawl, and her favourite colours are purple and teal.
