I’ve been on this planet for 38 years, 23 of which I've been a PCOS fighter. PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome) is a hormonal disorder that disrupts ovulation, causes irregular or missed periods, acne, excess facial/body hair, weight gain, fatigue, infertility, and insulin resistance. I consider myself a PCOS mentor via my YouTube channel, "Your Hairy Godmother". My channel has drawn in thousands of women with the same condition. I've undergone over 170 hours of electrolysis hair removal to date, and I've captured footage from Day 1 - sharing my entire hair removal journey over the span of the last 5 years. Although there's no cure for PCOS, I'm here to show that a solution to the unwanted hair is possible. Now, I've taken my experience and lessons from living with PCOS to write my very first book and guide to support the same community of women battling this condition.
