Smart Wireless Supervisory Control Intensive Care Unit.

This is the final detailed design of a wireless portable battery powered PIC microcontroller based patient monitoring system, the system will be portable so the patient could go anywhere in the hospital since the system will be wireless and battery powered.

The system will keep monitoring each cough, the temperature and the heart rate of the patient and when the patient's rate of the coughing or the heart rate exceeds a predetermined level or the body temperature goes over or below the normal level an alarm will be raised to notify the nurses or the doctors in order to take the appropriate action upon the patient.

not only that but also the system will display the patient ID on an LCD screen, also the system will be equipped with a GSM modem in order to send SMS message for help from the doctors as a fast and intelligent action for the situation only with a press of a push button that is interfaced with the system.
