About Me
Abdul Wadood is an educator, researcher, and author with over 25 years of experience teaching mathematics across Pakistan, the Middle East, and the international academic landscape. Known as "The Math Guru" (Gulf News), he has guided students from foundational school mathematics through advanced subjects including Calculus and Discrete Mathematics, with teaching experience across IB, GCSE, IGCSE, Cambridge, Edexcel, OCR, and AQA curricula.
His work is built on a single observation: most students who struggle with mathematics are not lacking ability. They are carrying invisible barriers built up by years of pressure, anxiety, and environments that reward speed over understanding. This insight runs through The Sanctuary of Learning, his platform exploring learning, cognition, mathematics, and human agency, and through The Human Agency Series, a collection of books including The Human Premium, The Last Skill, Thinking Under Pressure, and The Identity Trap, each examining a different dimension of how people think, learn, and retain their own judgment in an age of increasing automation.
Alongside this, he has authored practical guides for students, including the IB Math SL Internal Assessment Survival Guide and exam preparation resources spanning GCSE, IGCSE, and the major UK examination boards, designed to take students from confusion to confidence in a structured number of days.
The diagnostic packs available here apply the same philosophy to exam preparation across these curricula. Each pack goes beyond questions and answers. Every problem includes a precise mistake analysis showing exactly where students lose marks and why, drawn directly from decades of marking, examining, and watching the same errors repeat across thousands of papers. The goal is not just more practice. It is recognition before execution, so students walk into the exam already knowing where the traps are.
