ABOUT ALEXIS
Alexis P. Morgan is a Black, Indigenous and Jewish neurodivergent femme, working as a multi-disciplinary creative & spiritual guide.
With an extensive background in entrepreneurship, Alexis started her career as a business manager & operations consultant in 2011, primarily working with clients to streamline their systems of operation and bringing brick-and-mortar retailers into the fast-paced and evolving world of e-commerce. From 2015-2017, she also partnered with her friend and colleague, Peter K. Rubin (z"l) to help transformational entrepreneurs refine their brand voice + vision, while still being in alignment with their ethical + political values.
In 2022, after 20 years of study, apprenticeship, and extensive experience as a ritualist & healer in her communities, Alexis was initiated as a kasima (ancestral healer) & udagan xesete (spiritworker) by her Ancestors and the Asherah (sometimes referred to as the Grandmothers; the collective ancestral memory of the Earth.) Through her writing, art, and services, Alexis works supports ambitious and compassionate professionals, creatives, grassroots organizers and other community leaders find inner + outer alignment, and to step into being an embodied role models of their own intergenerational + ancestral wisdom.
Outside of her own ancestrally-directed practices, Alexis is an associate member of La Sosyete Fòs Fè Yo Wè, a trained rootworker & root doctor in the Hoodoo tradition, a familial practitioner of Louisiana Vodou, and a student of the Afro-Brazilian tradition of Kimbanda, with aspirations of completing chaplaincy training with the Order of Hildegard, in addition to her familial life as a rebbetzen-to-be (wife of a rabbi.)
When not enjoying the fruits of peace and relaxation, Alexis is an enthusiastic supporter of the Accomplis Collective, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to gathering + redistributing resources and support to grassroots Black and Indigenous community organizing & artistic projects throughout the United States, along with other wealth & power redistribution projects. Alexis also formerly served on the advisory board of We Make The Path Community Cooperative, a community interest company based in Edinburgh dedicated to supporting chronically ill, neurodivergent + disabled people in achieving their professional goals through sustainable work practices and entrepreneurship.
