Aaron Mead is the author of Body in a Barrel and the serial novel on Substack, Neither Slave nor Free. His other work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Orange Rose Literary Magazine, the Maryland Literary Review, and has been covered by NPR. He lives with his family in the Los Angeles area.
