MEET AMORE

Hi, my name is Zalavia Harley and I am the face behind the pen name Amore The Author. I am a 36 year old wife and mother of two daughters. I am a Tampa native and a recently published urban fiction romance author since September 2024.

I graduated from thee illustrious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in 2011 with my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a minor is Social Work. Soon after I obtained my Masters degree in Business Administration in 2013 from Strayer University. 

My love for reading started at an early age and morphed into writing in my teenage years. A heartbreaking loss brought me back to something I loved that helped me find myself again. I am where I and who I am today because of the grace of God. He is the head of my life and I owe everything to him. Philippians 4:13 said it best " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." 

I've met amazing authors and readers that have guided me through my journey as a writer and I'm forever grateful. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms into your community and I look forward to creating more stories and characters you all love.
