Amy Michelle Ray

Amy Ray was born in Springfield, Ohio in 1970. Always interested in human nature and writing, she graduated from Wittenberg University in 1992 with a B.A. in Psychology, a minor in Sociology and a concentration in Writing. One of her favorite classes in college was a class on Adolescence, which fueled her interest and led her to work briefly with adolescents with chemical dependency and emotional issues. In her work, she came to realize that teenagers are often the most misunderstood and sometimes the most forgotten segment of the population. With "grown-up" bodies, it's easy to place "adult" expectations on teenagers, forgetting they are still emotionally fragile and in need of love and care. Young adult fiction is now her favorite genre to write.
