I’ve made something a bit different: a colouring book that teaches you photography.
It started with one of my learners. She was having a run of sleepless nights and found colouring calming, and she learns best by seeing and doing. So I drew her a page that taught a piece of photography as she coloured it. It worked, and that one page has grown into a whole book.
Colouring With Light has 34 designs, each built around one idea: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, golden hour, the rule of thirds and more. Every page comes with a plain-English explanation and a five-minute exercise to try with your camera or phone.
It’s for beginners, and for anyone who owns a camera but still shoots on auto.
The print-at-home PDF is in my shop now for £5.99, and a printed version is on its way
I’d love to see your finished pages if you give it a go
