About me.

Hello, I’m Michael.

I’m an architectural visualization artist based in germany, with a background in architecture and over 20 years of experience at the intersection of design, technology and imagery.

My work focuses on local AI workflows for archviz – developed from real production needs, especially when handling sensitive client data.

I create tools for architects, archviz artists and interior designers who want to use ComfyUI without complexity:

  • no prompt writing
  • no cloud dependency
  • full control over your data

All workflows are designed to be simple, fast and production-ready – and are the same tools I use in my own daily work, built with custom nodes and intuitive dropdown controls.

Why i built this.

I’ve been working with Stable Diffusion since the early days and experienced firsthand how powerful — but also how complex — AI workflows can become.

Especially in architectural visualization, achieving consistent, professional results often requires a deep understanding of prompting, node structures, and technical experimentation. While ComfyUI offers an incredible level of control, I also know how overwhelming its complexity can feel for many creatives.

That’s why I started building my own streamlined systems and custom nodes for real project work — designed to simplify the process without sacrificing creative control.

Through conversations with architects, archviz artists and interior designers, I realized how many professionals are looking for exactly this: powerful local AI workflows that are intuitive, structured, privacy-friendly, and focused on visual results instead of technical complexity.

archviz.node.lab was created to make these systems accessible to other creatives who want to work faster, more independently, and with greater control over their imagery.

System Philosophy.

Most AI workflows are built around experimentation.

archviz.node.lab systems are built around creative control.

The goal is not to create more complexity, but to remove unnecessary friction from the creative process — simplifying technical workflows while preserving precision, flexibility and visual quality.

Every system is designed for real architectural visualization work: structured, intuitive, locally controlled, and focused on atmosphere, lighting and image composition rather than endless prompting and node management.

Built for creatives who want to focus on design — without getting lost in complexity.

I believe.

I believe the future of professional AI image creation will include strong local workflows — especially in creative fields working with sensitive client data, architectural concepts and unreleased projects.

While cloud-based AI tools are incredibly powerful for experimentation and fast ideation, local systems offer something equally important for professional work: control, privacy, consistency and independence.

Open-source image generation still evolves rapidly, and although closed-source systems may currently lead in certain areas of visual quality, local AI workflows already provide an incredibly powerful foundation for professional architectural visualization.

For me, the goal is not complexity for the sake of technology — but creating tools that help creatives work more freely, more independently, and with greater control over their visual process.

Designed for creatives - not technicians.

Most AI workflows are built for experimentation. These are different.

archviz.node.lab systems are built for creative professionals who need speed, consistency and visual control — without getting lost in technical complexity. Powered by custom-built nodes.
