I am a published poet, have taught creative writing and creative thinking at the college level and have an MA in Creative Writing/Poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Also, twenty-five years ago, I founded and served as Director and Writer for a communications firm that developed purpose-led messages for organizations dedicated to sustainabilitry and social responsibility. It was certified a B Corp in 2008. I also founded a nonprofit featuring individuals from around the world taking inspiring, uplifting actions addressing climate change. Right now I am devoted to deepening and widening the distribution of poetic wealth by writing, publishing and leading wordshops. I also devote time to teaching kindergarten through 6th grade at a wonderful public school I can walk to in the morning.
