Your Child is Not an Algorithm—And Big Tech Needs to Pay Up

We are living in an era of unprecedented wealth in Artificial Intelligence. Trillions of dollars are being poured into "Large Language Models." But here is the irony: Those models are only as good as the humans who use them.

The AI Parasite Problem

Right now, our school system is being treated like a dying business. We argue over pennies for reading tutors while AI companies use the collective knowledge of our children’s teachers and ancestors to build trillion-dollar products. They are "harvesting" the value of our public education system without paying into it.

When your school district says they "can't afford" a 1:1 aide or a specialized literacy program, what they are really saying is that the current tax code allows Big Tech to skip the bill for the very talent they need.

A New Deal for Neurodiversity

We must demand a system where:

AI Profits Fund Human Potential: A tax on AI compute and corporate profits replaces the outdated, unfair property tax.

Our Kids are the "Preferred Stock": In a world of automation, "human skills"—empathy, divergent thinking, and complex problem-solving—become the most valuable assets. These are exactly the strengths of the neurodivergent brain.

Investment Over "Loss": When a school supports a dyslexic child with a specialized tutor, it isn't "operating at a loss." It is performing Research & Development for the future of the human race.

The Bottom Line

We have to stop apologizing for our children’s "costs." In the age of AI, your child’s unique, "glitchy," creative, and non-linear brain is the most precious resource we have left. It’s time the companies making billions off our intelligence started paying for the infrastructure that creates it.
