Finally, a writing program that actually teaches your students how to write, not just what to write about.

This 12-week, print-and-go writing supplement takes students from shaky sentences to polished multi-paragraph essays through daily 20-minute lessons with built-in parent guidance. No prep, no teaching degree needed, just open and go.

Is this your student? They can talk about their ideas all day, but the moment they pick up a pencil, everything falls apart. Their sentences are choppy or run-on. Their paragraphs wander. They know what they want to say — they just can't get it on paper.

The Writing Booster fixes that.

This isn't a creative writing prompt pack or a grammar drill sheet. It's a structured, scaffolded 12-week writing skills program that teaches students the actual mechanics of strong writing — one skill per week, three days per week, about 20 minutes per day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • 12 complete weeks of student-facing lessons (106 pages)
  • 3 phases that build from sentence-level skills to multi-paragraph essays
  • Model passages students actually want to read (bioluminescence, Mars exploration, street markets, electric cars)
  • Guided practice on every Day 1 and Day 2
  • Parent Check-In guides for every Day 3 — with specific discussion questions and encouragement tips
  • Answer keys for every week with sample responses
  • "How to Use This Program" page and Table of Contents
  • "Spot It!" transfer activities that send students looking for skills in their other reading
  • Print-and-go PDF — no prep required

Week 7: Supporting with Details (claims & evidence)

Week 8: Writing with Purpose (audience & tone)

Week 12: Final Project (plan, draft, revise, and publish)

HOW IT WORKS

Every week follows the same simple 3-day routine:

Day 1 — Learn & Study the Model (~20 min) Student reads a model passage, learns the week's skill, and does guided practice.

Day 2 — Practice & Apply (~20 min) Student applies the skill to their own writing with structured exercises.

Day 3 — Parent Check-In & Revise (~20 min) Student reads their work aloud. Parent uses the provided discussion guide. Student revises. That's it — no lesson planning, no teaching experience needed.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

*Students in grades 4–7 who struggle to translate ideas into writing

* Students whose writing is technically okay but flat and repetitive

*Homeschool families looking for independent, structured writing practice

*Parents who want to support writing growth without becoming the writing teacher

*Co-ops and microschools needing a low-prep writing supplement

*Tutors looking for a sequential writing skills program

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is not a grammar workbook, a creative writing prompt journal, or a reading comprehension program. The Writing Booster focuses exclusively on writing mechanics: sentence construction, paragraph structure, word choice, evidence, revision, and multi-paragraph composition.

EXIT RAMPS BUILT IN

Students don't have to complete all 12 weeks. The three-phase structure means students can exit after Phase 1 (4 weeks) or Phase 2 (8 weeks) if they're ready for a full writing curriculum. No wasted time, no unnecessary repetition.
