Pregnancy 'Prepare for Birth' Programme
Move. Learn. Thrive.
Move. Learn. Thrive.
Support in preparing your body for birth, because you deserve more than ‘just wait and see what happens’!
Your body has carried and nurtured new life beautifully. Now, in these final weeks of pregnancy, you may be feeling heavy, uncomfortable, and unsure how best to support your body (and baby) through this final stretch and into birth.
This isn’t a generic prenatal workout, it’s a purposeful, third-trimester movement programme designed to help encourage optimal baby positioning, reduce common aches and pains, and prepare your pelvis, core and pelvic floor for both birth and early recovery.
Whether you’re hoping for a vaginal birth or preparing for a planned caesarean, this programme gives you practical, evidence-informed tools to move well, release tension, and feel more in tune with your changing body.
With short, accessible sessions tailored to how you’re feeling in late pregnancy, you’ll gain the confidence that you’re doing what you can to support your body and your baby, gently, intentionally, and with expert guidance every step of the way.
Did you know that by the third trimester, your abdominal muscles have naturally stretched and shifted to accommodate your growing baby? This lengthening is completely normal, and necessary, but it also means your core needs mindful support to stay functional, responsive, and ready for birth.
This programme uses breathwork, gentle core connection, and aligned movement to help you stay in tune with your deep core muscles as they adapt. Rather than “strengthening” in the traditional sense, we focus on creating space, reducing unnecessary tension, and building awareness of how your core and pelvic floor work together, especially during labour and birth.
These simple but powerful movements help reduce discomfort, support baby’s positioning, and lay the groundwork for your recovery after birth. It's not about doing more, it's about doing what's right for your body, right now.
Your pelvic floor has been quietly working hard throughout pregnancy, supporting your growing baby, stabilising your pelvis, and adapting to the increasing demands on your body. As birth approaches, it needs care, not just strength.
This programme guides you through gentle, intentional practices to bring awareness, mobility, and responsiveness to your pelvic floor—helping you prepare for both the physical process of birth and smoother recovery afterwards.
We focus on connection, relaxation, and the ability to release, not just contract, because a responsive pelvic floor is more supportive for labour than one that’s simply strong. These movements can also ease common issues like pelvic pressure, leaking, or discomfort as your body continues to change.
Wherever and however you plan to birth, this is about building trust in your body and giving your pelvic floor the support it needs now and beyond.
As your baby grows and your centre of gravity shifts, it’s common to feel achy, tight, or off-balance, especially through your lower back, hips, ribs, and neck. These changes are completely normal, but they can make everyday movement feel more effortful.
This programme offers gentle, targeted movements to help you release tension, create space, and support your posture as your body adapts. We focus on mobility and alignment to reduce common pregnancy discomforts and help you breathe, move, and rest more comfortably.
By building awareness and strength in key postural muscles, you’ll feel more supported in daily life, whether you’re walking, sitting, sleeping, or preparing for labour. Small, mindful shifts can make a big difference in how you feel, now and as you recover after birth.

This is about honouring your body, listening to what it needs, and giving it the support it deserves for one of life’s biggest transitions.
During both of my pregnancies, I remember searching for movement that felt supportive rather than scary, empowering rather than overwhelming. I wanted to prepare my body for birth in a way that felt safe, grounded, and informed—but so much of the advice out there was either too vague or too intense.
In hindsight, I now know that if I’d had the right tools to support my core, pelvic floor, and posture during pregnancy, my postpartum recovery would have been far smoother. Instead, I spent those early months navigating preventable challenges—issues that could have been eased or avoided with more targeted preparation and understanding before birth.
I’ve also faced cervical cancer, undergone multiple abdominal and gynaecological surgeries, and lived with pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and incontinence.
These experiences have only deepened my belief in the importance of prenatal education and movement—not just for labour, but for long-term strength and recovery.
That’s why I’ve spent over 15 years as a specialist personal trainer supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause and menopause. I’m here to offer guidance that’s rooted in science, compassion, and lived experience—so you can move with confidence, care, and clarity.
This programme isn’t about pushing harder or ‘staying fit’ during pregnancy. It’s about preparing your body for the incredible work of birth and the important recovery that follows—through supportive movement, breathwork, and pelvic awareness.
You deserve to feel informed, empowered, and deeply connected to your body at every stage of this journey. I’m here to help you do just that.

My doctor (Dr Kanoknat at Samitivej Srinakarin) recommended Anna when I was asking about what exercise is safe to do during each stage of pregnancy.
Highly recommend & thank you for creating such a safe and knowledgeable service. Now on week 10 of your classes and feeling the full benefits of attending weekly group strength training sessions.
I have trained with Anna in group sessions and 1:1 personal fitness sessions and I cannot recommend her enough for pre or postpartum exercise.
I highly recommend these training
sessions. They have given me back my strength and my confidence which I never thought I would have again at my age.
I love learning movements to aid in recovery and everyday life with kids. I love the group workouts with like-minded mamas and pre-menopausal women and it's made me fall in love with exercise again!
After attending the class, I can now lift my daughter again without hurting my back. I even took her ice-skating which makes me so happy.
