Construct - PDF knitting pattern

What could be an all-over rope motif is broken down into bricks that slot together to build the whole without requiring a complicated graft. The resulting crown is a particularly fine feat of design engineering, with the staircase-like motif perfectly in step with the shaping.

Each Hat in the Convergence collection is worked sideways in two colours of DK weight yarn. The patterns can be adjusted for different head circumferences by adding or removing panels, and each pattern also includes an adjustment point for length.

Pair 3.25mm/UK10/US3 straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge
3.5mm crochet hook
Approx. 2yd/2m waste yarn

Fit is determined by row gauge – if your gauge differs, simply work more or fewer panels to achieve the desired size. Additional notes on adjustment are included. Alternatively, adjust your gauge with a different needle size.
