Gauge:
20sts and 24 rows per 2'' square in lace pattern, when blocked.
Alternative yarns:
Any yarn suitable for socks will work well for this pattern. Ensure the yarn contains nylon (or a fibre with similar properites) for stretch, strenght and durability. Ensure your fabric is firm so your socks will be long lasting.
Twisted ribbing and a mock cable design combine to create a striking but simple sock. Each is worked differently so they mirror one another, and the eye of partridge heel adds extra texture.
