Nothing beats that ‘waking-up-early-in-the-morning-to-a-blanket-of-fresh-white-snow’ feeling.
And who doesn’t want to be the first person to leave their footprints up the blanketed path?
Leaving footprints in fresh snow is one of those pleasures in life that come rarely (where I live anyway!) but next time it does wrap yourself up in this extra long chunky scarf that will keep the fiercest of chills at bay whilst you tramp through the fresh snow and see how many other tracks you can find…
Tracks in the Snow knits up in no time in super bulky wool on 15mm needles - the simple stitch pattern is easy to memorise, the slipped stitch edge gives a polished finish and the fringe adds a touch of luxury.
Skills needed
18cm/7” x 220cm/86.5” including the fringe
Gauge
approx 7sts x 9 rows = 10cm stocking stitch worked on 15mm needles
Yarn requirements
4 x 100g balls of Drops Polaris 100% wool (36m/39yds per 100g)
Yarn substitution: this scarf was designed for super bulky roving style yarns that weigh in at around 35-40m/38-44yds per 100g

In an effort to make my patterns more accessible to all, a large print version of the pattern is included as a seperate download.
