Debt Snowball Tracker (UK Spreadsheet)
See exactly when you could be debt-free. The Debt Snowball Tracker from Tidy Sums Co compares the snowball method (smallest balance first) with the avalanche method (highest APR first) and shows your plan month by month.
What's inside
- My Debts: up to 10 debts - credit cards, store and catalogue cards, loans, car finance, overdrafts, buy now pay later - with balance, APR and minimum payment, plus a warning if a minimum doesn't cover the interest
- Choose your extra monthly payment and start month
- Snowball and Avalanche plans: up to 120 months (10 years), interest added monthly, payments rolled into the next debt as each one is cleared
- Minimum-payments-only comparison so you can see the interest you save
- Dashboard: debt-free date, months to go, total interest, interest saved, payoff order and a debt-over-time chart
- My Progress: log your real balance each month and chart it against the plan
Figures are estimates (lenders calculate interest daily and minimum payments can change). Free, impartial debt help is available from MoneyHelper, StepChange and National Debtline.
