The Counterfeit Light

What appeared to offer healing and enlightenment eventually led to spiritual bondage and years of spiritual warfare.

The "Counterfeit Light" is Kandl's true story of deception, bondage, deliverance, and ultimately freedom through Jesus Christ.

During a season of trauma, heartbreak, and isolation, Kandl was desperately searching for healing, peace, and

joy. What began as an innocent search for comfort led her into the New Age and Occult—tarot readings, crystals, chakra healing, Reiki, Kundalini practices, and more.

In this deeply personal testimony, she shares how practices that appeared harmless opened doors she never knew existed, what happened when she tried to leave them behind, and the long journey that followed as she fought to reclaim her peace, faith, and freedom.

This isn't simply a story about darkness. It's a story about the power of Jesus Christ to rescue, restore, and redeem.

“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NIV)
