he was searching for healing. She never imagined where that search would take her.

At 54, Kandl Lei was navigating heartbreak, isolation, and a future that suddenly looked nothing like the life she had imagined.

Searching for relief and hope, she discovered the world of New Age spirituality. What began innocently with online Tarot readings gradually led her deeper into practices she believed were helping her heal, grow spiritually, and take control of her future.

But what appeared to be light would eventually lead somewhere she never expected.

In The Counterfeit Light, Kandl shares the raw and deeply personal story of her six-year journey through New Age and occult practices, the spiritual warfare that followed, and her fight to find freedom.

This is not simply a story about what she escaped.

It is a testimony of the God who never stopped pursuing her.

Through deception, fear, deliverance, healing, and restoration, Kandl ultimately discovered that the light she had been searching for could never be manifested, summoned, or found within herself.

The true Light was Jesus Christ.

The Counterfeit Light is for anyone searching for answers, anyone questioning New Age spirituality, and anyone who needs to know that no matter how far you've gone, there is a way back.
