Ruthven Cowl Knitting Pattern

Cabled waves ripple across the surface of this generously sized cowl, suggesting the fresh beauty of the loch it’s named for. The angled seam adds dramatic interest and a softly spreading shape.

Lustrous BFL/silk from The Wool Kitchen makes for a fluid, glowing fabric to wrap you in comfort after a swim - or any other time.

Size
Depth: 41 cm / 16 in
Circumference at bottom edge: 147.5 cm / 58 in
Circumference at neck edge: 55.5 cm / 22 in

Yarn
The pattern requires 640 m / 700 yds DK yarn. I recommend using a rounded yarn that will give good stitch definition to the finished cowl. The finished fabric should have good drape at the stated gauge.
