My three kids and I had a fun few days at home working through this unit study, reading a stack of delicious library books, drawing way too many cakes, having tea time while reading yummy poems & easily covering a few learning areas along the way. My 6yo who is learning to read also surprised me with his enjoyment of the word search. It did me good to think a bit more creatively around our learning at home esp. as I come from a very traditional academic background myself.
